April and audio books
What a month! Clem launched, Paddy has a print date, Ari was a graceful runner up and Nick’s first draft went off to my publishers.
Exhausting.
So you think this would be the right time to rest? Not a bit of it. My husband and eldest son felt that lock-down was missing a certain something, and that certain something was torture.
Also known as sea swimming. They first went in in the middle of February. They “convinced” me to join them and by March I was joining them for the odd dip. Now, just so you understand the full torture, British seas aren’t known for their soft warm waters, (7° c if you are interested) and we were going in in cossies. No wetsuits, gloves or hats. The boys’ final demand was that we fully immerse, head under!
April
Liz Hurley as well as being the owner of this blog, runs a bookshop in Cornwall, right by the sea and writes books. You can buy them in her shop (of course), Waterstones and other outlets, as well as Amazon.
When she’s not reading, she’s writing and when she’s not writing, she’s walking. And when she’s not doing any of that she’s binging on box sets and sleeping.
This website is for her fictional works. Her Cornish non-fiction titles and walking guides can be found at https://www.cornishwalks.com
